Rules by Not Rulers

“Social norm” was originally a technical term for manners, stuff like putting your hand over your mouth when you yawn.

Nowadays we also hear it used in a new context, in certain niche circles where it refers to a rule advocated by someone who pertains not to want rulers, just rules.  Desiring to see a specific set of rules imposed on society is tantamount to being authoritarian by proxy.

Anyway, here’s some examples.  Where’s the one about private property gone… oh… wait…
